16 Call To Action Speech Topics

Call to action speech topics for my Toastmasters International public speaking friends on motivational speech topics. These brainstorm sample ideas for a speech have one ulitimate goal; show them the specific direction you want them to go. I personally prefer the use of the Monroe Motivational Sequence for this type of speech topics. The major Attention, Need, Satisfaction, Visualization and Call to Action segments should be fully worked out. I have discussed them in my motivational sub- section. I first will repeat the | main steps before we move on to my example statements and phrases for lots of call to action speech topics for any Toastmasters public speaker. - Attention - Gain the attention of the audience and tell them specifically what action you want from them. Try to tie shared values and needs and interests.
- Need - Offer the ins and outs of your proposal for action, e.g. your plan, your solution.
- Satisfaction - Let the public know what's in it for them, the merits, benefits, results, improvements if they act and do like you want.
- Visualization - Show the concrete steps and stages they have to take.
- Conclusion or Call to Action - State what they have to do, change or think right now after your talk.
The exact impact of your public speaking speech depends on the specific action you ask. Call to action speech topics are equal to shared emotions, initiate a debate on a hot topic, promote your book, force a change in daily habits, motivate them to achieve something in life, or persuade your listeners to vote for you in some kind of an election campaign.
