Hi all, here is my Powerpoint Speech Topics Outline sample on the effects of physical alcohol. Use it if you like! This example outline has been used by me in 2006.

And I got an A after I had worked it out :-)

1. Main Point # 1

Point 1: Alcohol poisons you and can lead to brain damage.

The Reason: Drinks are slowly eliminated and absorbed into your blood. Your stomach and liver can process about 1 ounce of alcohol in one hour.

Example: One normal glass of beer or 5 ounces of wine is eliminated by your body in one hour.

2. Main Point # 2

Point 2: Alcohol disrupts vital processes of the human body.

The Reason: It effects our central nervous system which controls your breathing, body temperature, and heart rate.

Examples: Cardiac arrest, irregular heartbeats, and stop breathing.

3. Main Point # 3

Point 3: Alcohol abuse can lead to sexual abuse and unsafe sex.

The Reason: There are college students having been too intoxicated by drinking to know if they consented to sexual activities or not.

Example: Tens of thousands of young people are victims of sexual assault or had unprotected sex.
